Cherry Tomato Salad
If you have a fresh crop of cherry tomatoes and you are not sure what you might do with such a quantity, consider making a cherry tomato salad. Because my "Sweet 100" plant produces thousands each summer, I'm always looking for ways to use these tasty treats. While they are certainly good to just pop into your mouth from the garden, here I show one of the other dining options these little gems present. Simply wash and cut the tomatoes in half. Add chopped fresh basil and small mozzarella balls, then toss with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and salt and pepper to taste.
